BTC Sports Club has been around in several guises since 1923 and runs a number of clubs based at their ground in Stoneham Lane, Southampton.  Dating back to early Port and Railway organisations BTC today is affiliated to the ‘National Association of Railway Clubs’ (NARC). BTC were a founder member of the Southampton Football League (SPL).

BTC has a long history in Southampton, which can be traced back to the original club site which is now part of Ford’s in Swaythling  to the move to Stoneham Lane and several planning applications to extend the existing club house built in the 1950s.

With over 500 members, including many employed by Associated British Ports, the Sports Club offers Bowls, Football and recently restarted its Cricket Club. Although the current ground was originally built in the 1950’s and the buildings are now dated, the sports facilities are some of the best in Southampton.

BTC is also a great venue for hosting events and are in their third year of holding 7 and 11-a-side Football Tournaments spread over several weekends. For the 2011/2012 season this is being extended with new u16 and u18 11-a-side and u9 and u10 mini soccer tournaments.

BTC Bowls section has been going since the sports Club moved to its current location and currently supports 2 teams.

Ford Trust Grant The Football Section have received a grant from the Ford Britain Trust towards new equipment.
